Christmas around the corner?

It is still November but by the way everyone is acting I feel like Christmas is this weekend! I love Christmas, don't get me wrong, but it is just overwhelming since thanksgiving was only a week ago. I am trying to keep up with these holidays but time is just flying past me here. I look forward to this years Christmas whether it is in a nice foreign country on a beach, or cuddle up in my cabin with some snow on the window. I hope everyone can enjoy the holidays!

The Ultimate Actor

When it comes to movies and actors it is hard to think of any good ones without having Johnny Depp come to mind. My two favorite Johnny Depp movies are definitely Pirates of the Caribbean and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp plays two incredibly different roles in both of these movies and you are able to see his true diversity and talent. In Pirates of the Caribbean Depp plays Captain Jack Sparrow who is an infamous pirate captain who always seems to be in a bit of trouble. Johnny Depp was the perfect character for this and I feel like he truly made the movie a success. My favorite scene from Pirates of the Caribbean is when Johnny Depp is left on an island and he immediately goes for the rum to start drinking and having a nice vacation. This is a true pirate mentality and Depp did a perfect job with the part, especially in this humorous scene. On the other hand of the spectrum we have Johnny Depp playing Willy Wonka who is the crazy and lonely candy factory owner. In this movie we see Johnny Depp act in a way that we never would have expected after seeing Pirates of the Caribbean. My favorite scene in this movie is when he dances inside the factory, and my reason for this is because she shows a true eccentric side which is perfect for Willy Wonka. Out of these two movies Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite, but only because I felt like the movie plot line was more interesting and action packed. In the past few weeks I have become extremely excited about the newest Johnny Depp movie directed by Tim Burton. The new movie is Sweeney Todd where Depp will be playing the barbershop killer Sweeney Todd, which of course is a perfect roll for him. It was a long day

Today has been an on going day of work and stress but it is nice to sit down right now and relax. I am having a great week despite all of the struggles that I have had to overcome. Winter?

Today was actually cold for once and it caught me off guard. I have been wearing shorts all year until today when I was so cold I had to put on pants and a sweatshirt. It is suppose to be in the upper 70's for the rest of the week but I am still in shock about today's cold temp of 69 degrees (it is cold when you live in warm weather year round). Early night

It has been a long weekend of very little sleep and I have decided that tonight I am actually going to go to bed early. I have not had much sleep and after a pretty lonely Thanksgiving it is probably best to rest a bit. Dinner tonight

The Mist!

When it comes to scary book and movies there is absolutely no comparison to the all famous Stephen King. I have always been a fan of King's movies and my favorite is by far "IT" and the reason is because of clowns and my dislike of them. Ever since I was little I have always had bad experiences with clowns, so when I watch this movie I am always in for some jitters. The other day I was watching TV and I saw a trailer for the new Stephen King movie "The Mist" and I will be honest it looks very thrilling and mysterious. I love to watch movies where I am at the edge of my chair with excitement as well as confusion and I know that this movie is going to deliver just that. This movie is coming out on Wednesday November 21st which is only a few days away! I have decided that I am definitely going to go and see this movie, especially after going online and looking at the trailer again. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is upon us and I cannot wait to have some stuffing, but there is also some sadness to my Thanksgiving because I will not be having it with my family this year. To me this is very distressing but it is something that I must deal with. I am sure that I will get together with some friends and go out but it is not the same as my family. Constant Pain

For the past 20 years I have watched my father as he get aggravated pain from both his back and his knee. These pains that he is constantly plagued with are due to football injury's from college, and they increased as he continued to carry heavy objects to work everyday. Camping

Lunch....breakfast?

I woke up this morning and after sleeping in a little bit more than usual I did not take the time to go to breakfast. Haircut

I am definitely is need for a haircut and I have set aside some time today so that I can take a nice walk and get a good trim. I was watching Jerry Seinfeld on Larry King the other day and I will be honest it got quite heated. Larry asked if Seinfeld (the show) was cancelled, but he didn't do it in a serious way but Jerry seemed to take it the wrong way. Jerry quickly went at Larry King and started giving him a hard time, and in my opinion I do not think that he handled it in a professional manner. Alarmingly, it is cash strapped youngsters and low income earners who, having spent the most on last Christmas, are most likely to be feeling the repercussions of last year’s spending spree (see figures below).

The research into the financial impacts of last Christmas amongst a GB representative sample of 2,000 British adults was carried out by the new money savings website Savebuckets.com which launches this week to enable Brits to get more for their money this Christmas.

Fire

Today there was a pretty serious fire at the Arizona State University Mermorial Union. The fire occured today for unknown reasons but speculations have gone around that it was a grease fire from the kitchens. I personally was one of the many people who had to evacuate the building and it was not a fun time. Overall we will just have to wait for the news stations to give the full report. Oh and watch for me because I was intervied. I was wearing a black Polo shirt.
