There is more to St. Augustine...

We have all been to Florida sometime in our lives but we have not all made a trip to the beautiful St. Augustine where there is something truly special happening. St. Augustine is not just sun and palm trees, it is also this country's oldest city. On the last Saturdays of October and November the main antique district sitting on San Marco Avenue sparks up some true fun and entertainment. During these days you will have hundreds and thousands of amazing opportunities to listen to live music in the streets, search out and barter for antiques, or even find that special piece of artwork that you have been searching for. If you continue on you will be able to make a short walk over to Aviles Street, which has the Ripley’s Museum and the Mission of Nombre de Dios. On Aviles Street you will see more live music, and more galleries, as well as more shops. Uptown Saturday nights in St. Augustine start at 5:00pm and go till roughly 9:00pm on the last Saturdays in October and November. All of the shops and galleries offer free wine and refreshments, and there is also free parking close by. The exact dates of the two Saturdays are October 27Th and November 24Th, so please don't miss out, come and see how fun St. Augustine events truly are!

New curtains anyone?

I am leaving for college in a few months and with that I will be need some supplies. I almost forgot about curtains until my Friend Joe told me that we need them in our dorm. The Police are taking over!!!

The Police are back and in full swing! I am extremely pleased to announce the return of the Police, as well as their world tour. I am very happy to say that I will be seeing the Police this summer, but I have not actually ever been to one of their concerts yet. I will be traveling a bit of a ways to see them, but lets be honest there is no distance that is going to stop a true fan from seeing the Police. The Police are releasing a new two disc CD set that is a complete compilation of all their greatest hits! After looking at the line up on the police cd I know that they are going to be worth buying. My favorite song between the two Cd's is by far "Message in a Bottle." I love this song because of its meaningful lyrics, and its upbeat vibe that it casts. I am a huge Police fan, and I know that this new CD set is going to be the best thing to hit stores in the past 30 years! Take my word on this one guys, the Police are back, and it is time to start following them again.
