Some fireworks on the beach

I will be on the beach tonight watching some fireworks in Chicago, and to be honest it is going to be worth the drive. I have a bit of a ways to go but in the end it is 100% worth it. I love to go down to IL for a day or two and I have always had fun. I am getting ready to go and begin my journey. I think that my dinner might be either pizza from California Pizza Kitchen, or Japanese food from Kama Kura. It is open for discussion, so if anyone has any advice please fill me in!
